Who we are
A family business, started over.
I spent 26 years in medical distribution, the last several running the operation. In 2024 that ended, and finding what came next wasn't easy.
Around that time, some conversations with a good friend, Hayley's and my guitar teacher, gave me the idea to start this.
It took about a year and a half to turn that into OrderMusicGear. Online made sense. Brick and mortar takes capital we didn't have, and 26 years in distribution meant I actually knew how to run the logistics side of it.
Music is a family thing here. Hayley plays guitar. Riley's on a full drum kit. I play guitar myself and I'm currently getting humbled trying to learn drums alongside Riley. Ruger, the family dog, is unofficially in charge of morale.
Starting over wasn't the plan, but I know what that's like. That's exactly what we want to help musicians do at any stage: start, keep going, and get better.
We're also an approved vendor for Broward County Public Schools, which we take seriously since it means school programs and band directors trust us to get gear right.
